History of the British era


This ancient Shiva temple, situated in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, is known by people as a broken waterfall. The history of the temple is connected to the year 1925 and it is believed that the British were working to lay the railway line from this area. During excavation for water, they saw some domed objects inside the ground. The British did complete digging to know about this matter and in the end the temple was fully visible.

Lord Shiva is worshiped


Inside the temple, Lord Shiva got the Shiva Linga and on top of it got the white color of Mother Ganga. There is constant water coming out of the navel of the image which falls on Shiva Ling, passing through the palm of both hands. Within the temple itself, water from the Ganga statue itself is a matter of curiosity in itself.

People come from far and wide to worship here and the devotees in the temple keep stretching for the whole year. The devotees believe that the person who takes a glimpse of this wonderful form of Lord in the broken waterfall shrines, his wish is fulfilled. Mystery of the water stream of Mother Ganges


The question is, where is this water coming from its own? This thing has remained secret till now. It is said that Shiva Linga is not Jalabhishek, nobody else is herself mother Ganga. Two handpumps placed here are also surrounded by secrets. People do not need to run a handpump for water here, but they always keep falling from the water. At the same time, a river passes through the temple which is dry, but in the heat of hot weather, the water keeps continuously moving through these handpumps.
